Quick run down on me. My name is Matt Dobbs from Nanaimo B.C. I have partied for about 4 years now, however, very much a rookie to the vancouver party scene. I am 21 years old and feed myself as a manager of a retail store and occassionaly throwing small intimate all night events. I have been trolling around the site for a while but never bothered to sign up until now. So here I am, another noob.....feast away:)

Wasup everyone, this looks like a good place for a first post! Allright... imma 20 year old white boi, brought here to you from the TeknoKid himself.
First party was Apex... damn that was awesome, too bad i had to leave early (we are gonna say 4am is early). Then came IMF...wow! Phase One, sweetest music ever, how can you go wrong with Punk twice? my last party was Rave to the Grave w00t! Ive allready got my Spooky ticket and i hope to see you there!

see this little kid in the ninja turtle sweatpants dancing to the pet shop boys? yeah, thats me. I grew up on house music cause my older sisters best friend was into this extremely gay (but awesome) early 90's tech house. and i got into it really quickly too, i started taping my sisters cd's picking my favorite tracks and complying them onto little tapes. I also had a copy of marky mark teaches dance or somthing like that, and watched it religiously, and slowly learned to dance pretty good for an 8 year old. that went on for a while then i became an upset rocker/punk/goth/grunger and that lasted for about 6/7 years untill i discovered james brown. and slowly all the music I as a rocker labeled as crap became cool again. and my goove came back. as an angry rocker kid i picked up the guitar and learned music, scales, chords and all that crap, but couldnt startt a band out in cobble hill (where i grew up) so i started to produce my own stuff on the computer, and as my musical tastes broadend, so did my sound. then one night, a girl i was following around like a puppydog was a "raver" and wernt to the early fabled Eagles Hall raves, and dragged me along to Island Style 3, my first rave. In that night, my musical tastes, and my overall persective on how music can effect you changed forever. and yeah, i did E with a cute raver girl, that alwase helps too right after that night i decided i should buy some turn-tabes so i did, and sucked, and sucked and sucked. then some know it all dj from fat kat riped me off on a shitty broken mixer with a completely broken crossfader. which sent me back even furthe, but because had no crossfader, i got alot more creative with my drops. around this time i was raving heavily, at these tight little island parties that featured funky house, and that was beggining to rub off on me. i then discovered the 2.99 bin at boomtown victoria and poured money into it, and cae uip with alought of rare, unique tracks that probably will end up in my crate for a long time to come. so about almost a year later im in vancouver now (well burnaby) im not doing much but saving for school and spining records, yay. HOLY shit! i havent written this much since high school

well i guess i might aswell post in here. wizzfish, another "noob" if you will forwarded me over here to try and sell an extra IMF ticket.
My name is Shawn and my first party was IMF. I've been into the euro trance/club scene for a couple years and am familiar with all the big name DJs from over there, but I was sorta too scared to go to a "rave" Once i heard about IMF I realized i couldnt miss out on such a great euro trance lineup, so I was like what the hell, and i bought a ticket :D That was one of the best nights I've ever had. I'm now continuing on at Spooky and many other future parties. I'm setting up my own party as well, which I will be DJing at, probably on November 28th geared towards teens. Check it out in the Events section.
