Spooky would be my one year anniversary, but due to a weird chain of events I'm bitter beyond my year and won't be attending because paying over $25 is shit. Well my name is Michael, 19, Kaos's cousin all the way from the land down under. My first local rave was last night at *Whistle This*?? i think thats what it was called. I been here for about 3 weeks so far and im staying til mid january before i fuk off home to Australia. Id just like to thank a few people for making things so much easier on me since i pretty much dont know anyone. First Kev for draggin me out and about, showing me around, and taking care of any pescriptions i may need while on holiday :) Jessica for gettin me pissed the other night, partying with me and introducing me to all her mates. Wow - I'm feeling kinda old - ah, never! Let's see, I'm 23, almost done my engineering degree at UBC. Been partying for ~6 years and playing records for ~4 years.
I'm from Vancouver, but in the last couple of years I've moved around quite a bit (Hamilton, Portland, Seattle) for school, so I'm stoked to have been back here for a bit... Look forward to meeting some of you guys in the upcoming months!! An on a side note, what do people here feel about progressive house? Not just house, but a little harder and trancier, think trance without the continuous cheesy breakdowns.
