Hi,

I shall introduce myself, My name is Koen, i'm from Holland. I'm living near Vancouver in an appartment (Langley/Abbotsford) to work for three/four months for a Canadian company. I'm already in Canada for 4 weeks now...The purpose here is to write a report about the company for my school in Rotterdam, Holland.
HOWEVER,

I use to go to RAVES a lot in Holland. Raves in Holland, Amsterdam or Germany, Frankfurt, Berlin..Techno music is my favourite...When I say this to the Canadian people, there only question is if I take any drugs?...

But, I know there has to be "other minded people" I'd like to meet them...can anyone give my information about the raves in Vancouver, or close to it.......I heard there are some ones that are really good....

if you are in town for april, armin van buren is coming to town, check out any twisted productions party, you may want to check 'KISS" this weekend, sum good trance, but im very sorry to say that vancouver can not even compare to partys such as trance energy and so on that u may be used to in holland, I partyd with sum of your countrymen in ibiza last summer, and i must say, you folk know how to party, and thanks again for brewing heineken :sixpak: enjoy canada

^ as retro has stated we have some events that would tickle your fancy musically but you might be a little let down overall. The gold club series events located in the "Georgia Straight" newspaper (free publication) are the only type events that offer an alcohlic atmosphere with world class dj's. There are some hard working promoters in the city and definitely a few bigger scale shows that will be happening over the next little while. Check the calendar for details or simply the events & promo section. Any other questions plz leave here :)

Well as far as drugs, I know you can smoke a lot of weed in Canada just like in Holland. I'm not sure about other drugs. There are lots of open minded people on this board.

I'd like to visit the Netherlands myself too. Maybe I'll meet you sometime and you can tell us more about where you're from.
