i agree with rawb, i dont think the scene is getting better at all..

when the promoters cant keep the main attractions, that means that sales were shit and that people arent doing what they are supposed to do.

Meh, there will always be cynical opinions like that^ to ruin everyone else's time. It's not going downhill trust me, I can assure you. Maybe you guys who think so just think so because you're older than most ravers...but I meet people fresh out of high school in the dozens who want to go more and more and ask me to get them tickets. I am starting to see lots of them all over the place. Ya, maybe FnK does a really good job of advertising but again, the people who come on here and have a good time WILL come back. That makes them ravers if they party with us so you might want to rethink your previous statements.

I've heard some older ppl (who dont rave anymore) say all the real ravers died out years ago. And it does seem like they had a pretty bumpin scene going back then but like that will discourage me ...if anything it will motivate me. I met lots of first timers @ Spooky who were having such a good nite. And on top of that a couple girls i know came along to Spooky and cant wait until their next rave....haha Rave on!! :c-tard:

It ain't so much we died out. We just changed into clubbers; kind of like how a catepillar turns into a butterfly.

it's coming back, I've seen the scene die down in the past few years from when I used to party in 1999 (it was crazy back then) and so on till now... The scene is definately coming back and I hope it gets to the point where it once was :keebler:

well yeah most ravers turned into clubbers but even that gets old.. i've gone back and forth.. i think clubbing has too much politics believe it or not.. and you have to try too hard.. or everyone elose tries to hard.. raving is more laid back which is why i think it's better

its definitely coming back, unless im being misled im finding more small events being planned, and more interest from my friends in going, people changed, and i've changed quite a few minds on the rave/party seen as they have seen me spin it when i practice so :)

hasnt trance been around vancity for the longest time....it was good for the first....3 hours of spooky, then it just got soo repetative and depressing, hehe the breaks room was off the hook...and the scence is the same..too much trance..we need some hardhouse and some doopppee breaks headliners...i wouldnt mind hearing anne savages dirty breaks...actually would love to hear it...shittt
