Hrm... Not a lot of interesting subjects you can put down in a N00b intro.
I met Meth0dical and Sitting Duck at Ghettoblaster, and they seemed pretty cool, so I figured I'd check it out here. I was the flailer in the red hawaiian shirt, lol.
I'm originally from Prince George, down in the lower mainland at BCIT for their joint Biotechnology degree with UBC. Ghettoblaster was my first Vancouver- style party. I've been going to raves off and on since probably June 2000, more for a night of music and dance than the socialization, yet most of the people I consider "good friends" are ravers anyhow. Ahh, the joys of being one of the few introverted ravers.
The vibe is certainly different than in PG. I almost felt out of place for a bit. But it was a party nonetheless, and soon I got into the groove of things. Music was better (more varied and things) than I'm used to. How did Ghettoblaster rate in the overall scheme of things down here?
Well, better post this before I start ranting aimlessly...
