a little seattle funk comin at cha!!!!!!!
whatttttuppppp vancouver????
 about me! i am a full time salesman at magnolia audio video. i spend all of my daytime hours hard at work, and definatly earn a respectable living. in what little free time i have, i like to visit my family, get beat up by my 2 nephews, and neice, and i love driving, and rocklin out to banging arse funky house and breaks. i have been a part of the rave scene since 1991, and attended my first club night in new york city. my first cd i ever bought that contained rave music was keoki and the high and lonesome sound system. i couldnt figure out what about this music i liked , but it just spoke to me. i went to raves sober, for years and years, and i couldnt get the house music out of my head. in 1996 i moved to washington and met a bunch of dj's in seattle. one of these dj's was the now supa famous donald glaude, who completely inspired me to become a dj! his antics behind the decks, and the music selection he provided was the absolute shit. in 1997 i heard donald spin at a party right after dj dan. these two rocked the casba like i had never seen before and they both played this record, ricky getdown, "the grind" i went out the next day with dj roman, to find this track. i found it and just started collecting records, one at a time for the next few years. a couple of years ago , i got bored of just working, and decided to try my hand at dj-ing, and decided i kinda sucked, but i wanted to be great. so i spent the last few years trying to do my best, and always giving 110% i have recently been getting some pretty amazing oppurtunities to shine in the spotlight, and have received some pretty great feedback. i feel now i have the oppurtunity to share my music selection with a huge range of people, and am just having a great time with it! if you are interested in checking out my live mixes, here is a teaser from my new cd. the cd is 40 minutes of hard funky house, with quick mixes, then 40 minutes of breaks. this is a real audio sample of the breaks part. www.djhyperfunk.com/rm/disco_teaser.ram any comments, good or bad are appreciated!
