saying my first hello up in here. :202:

i'm michael. i dj, organize events, and make music. coming from both sides of the spectrum - ragga jungle and dancehall, then ambient, downtempo and a load of other stuff that may or may not fit those categories.

i do a seasonal live ambient audio/visual series called 'environments'. (next one is feb. 26th)

i do a weekly friday night called 'fire light lullabies' at the jewel of india in gastown. probably the only regular spot for downtempo and generally chilled out tunes. complete with a huge working fireplace and couches and that. no cover. 52 alexander st., if you're into a relaxed time with a variety of quality chilled out tunes.

it's a beatless, super ambient business that one. getting together the remix project for it's been really fun and exciting so far. there's some other links up there to more beat-oriented stuff i've made.

this is a lot of the stuff that makes up me. basically, i'm trying to bring flavours to the scene where i think things are lacking. and trying to have a fun time doing it, and living life baby!
