Ok so I'm going to Germany and Italy soon.

I was just wondering if there were any tips people might have for me.
I've heard things like bring toilet paper with you to italy because they have none for public facilities.
Any other tips to remember before I go?

Other helpfull things would be suggestions on what were the best things to see.
And any good clubs/nightlife in the areas i'm going to.

The cities I will be in are Frankfurt, Munich, Venice, Florence, and Rome. :)

It's a really short trip only 2 weeks starting on the 29th of this month.

I have family in Germany, and yes they have lots of TP there. lol. Do bring extra money, because the chocolate there is just too damn good to pass up as well as some cute clothes and shoes if you are into that sort of thing. Another thing, German people are cocky, (and yes I can say that because I am German.) and they hate people who are like the dumb ass dipshit tourist types. Don't worry about not speaking German either, if you can understand the English through the thick accents, you will be good. Have fun!

lol i know these places have toilet paper. I've just heard from a lot of people that in Italy a lot of the public facilities don't carry it. Not that they don't have it in the country at all. :p

Also as far as them hating tourist types. Like what kinds of things do you mean. Like being a tourist period? or just asking really stupid questions and being arrogant? lol because not really knowing the language and asking where to go will usualy make you look like a dum ass tourist.

Germany is pretty nice... the people generally understand English. If you know some basic German it can help a lot though. Munich is a really nice city. I only had a short time there when I was on my way back from Austria but I might return in September for Oktoberfest. If you're using Public Transit, pick up a Map real quick as they have more than one Line, not like our SkyTrain. Definetly make a trip up to the top of the TV Tower in the Cities you visit as you get an amazing view of the Country. In Stuttgart you could see the Black Forest and into Bavaria. They usually have a Restaurant up there as well. Other than that, have fun, drink lots of Beer as you are in the Heart of the Best Breweries in the World. :) Gute Reise!

You plan on checking all these paces out in two weeks. I'm sorry hun but that's just not really possible. There is so much to see in each of these places you could spend two weeks in eah and still miss stuff. Frankfurt and Venice have so much history to offer if you are into history. It's a remarkable experience standing on a spot where battles took place thousands of years ago. It's a great experience have a great time.

Oh trust me I know I'm not going to see it all. But I plan to come back one day when I have more time and money (which is the big issue) I want to see a lot because I know it will take some time to get back and spend more time in each area. But I would love to at least experiance a little bit of everything even if it is just in little bursts.

Lol! I probably should have been a little more specific when I said dumb-ass tourists...What I meant was dumb-ass americans, and I'm really sorry if I'm offending anyone, but face it; pretty much all of the countries in Europe hate your guts. Casually slip in to the conversation that you are visiting from Canada and I'm sure you will find more people will act kindly towards you. They don't mind tourists per-say, just don't be standing beside a washroom and be asking everyone that walks by where one is. Just things like that; you know, nothing America's Funniest Home Video style...Also, German people (unless you find very nice ones...again with the visiting from Canada thing) usually refuse to take pictures for you... Wonderful bunch. lol. Beer is always good. Lots and lots of beer...
