Awwww I was only able to spend a limited time in byron. It was amazing but its effin crowded and expensive at the moment. No trace are you staying for the blues and roots festival in march? that would be so amazing.

I thought Whit Haven beach on Whit sunday island was paradise. Its arguably one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. If the beach doesnt do it for you, stick around for the stars. stargazing on a sailboat 10 metres from the beach with not an artificial light in sight is something else.

If I were to live anywere in Australia Byron bay would be one fo them! Twice I spent 5 days there... Wiked surfing, awsome ppl (local/tourist) and some of the best hostels around! They get some wiked night life for such a small town too! However the alternative uniquness can get to you after awhile... still a fav though
