Miami?
Anyone know of any hotels that are reasonably priced but not total dumps? I have been warned that some places are horrendous.
Or...the other option would be to rent a condo. Anyone? We're trying to plan a girls trip for the end of June or early July!

I recently went and stayed in miami before my cruise, when i stayed down there it was called the 4points hotel.. i think it was a sheriton (sp?) .. anyways awsome hotel! and reasonable for sure. Your close to Bayside miami which is nice. The area of the hotel is not bad at all.. couple blocks down though thats a different story...
Your right across miami beach, and they have a huge pool. Service is awsome there! Theres this restraunt inside, awsome breakfast buffet!! Book quickly the hotels down there book up very quickly.

South Beach and no where else.
I believe any hotel on collins street on the beach side is pretty decent either way. Sean and Kyle stayed in the "marques" or something on 17th which was nice (there mostly all old renovated hotels). But Nat you would probly like anything between 13th-22nd on Collins. Thats the happening area. Lincon and washington are the main shopping strees.

DO NOT STAY AT THE DAYS INN IN CIVIC CENTRE!!! Not a bad hotel, but we woulndt even walk a few bocks away AS A GROUP alone. Why I say stay in south beach area. The rest of miami is pretty gehtto.. the real kind.
Days Inn on 22nd collins is another story :p Like I said... from what I saw all the hotels on Collins from say 13th-22nd street looked great. Ocean street as well or down in Nikki Beach area. But there a bit south from the city centre. There are even alot of really nice hotels up north along the beach. Luckly Cabs are pretty cheep. Last edited by Ree Fresh; Apr 27, 06 at 05:42 PM.

^yeah DONT get the one on the corner of the highway. That was the mistake we made.
21st on Collins was the one we were SUPOSE to get :p Im nto going to complain though... we got a sick sick sick as deal, a king size bed, and a spanish guy to take care of us from the gangsters :y:
