My dad got me two tickets for the grey hound to go for my birthday , conventions on the 12th...now...WHO THE HELL AM I BRINGING????

ummm... If your already in bc right now... you'd probably want to leave like today or tommorow.... Its at least a 3 day trip on greyhound from here to montreal.

ya I just looked at that also...could buy one plane ticket (round trip) in place of two grey hound tickets...

this is shitty, I went to one two years ago ( it was the day after my birthday) but we flew in

ya I'd use a plane... christ I can't handle a grey hound bus for more then an hour.... I get motion sickness on those things. Use westjet to go out to montreal. Whats sweet about there planes now is that they all have built in camera's in the back of the headrests... Satellite TV. I remember when I went home to montreal about 3 years ago and was landing in montreal yet was watching global news in vancity... Was kinda weird..

What you also have to consider is that if you took the greyhound and with all the stops you'd get hungry so in the end you'd actually be spending alot more money by bus then it is on plane. Besides ticket sales this year has been lower then previous years.

haha, that DOES sound luxury in comparison, I just spent a total of 12 hours on grey hound this past weekend too, between the screaming kid and the lard ass that took up two seats, I dunno if I could do it again. (not to mention im back in campbell river which would make it even longer)

west jet just jacked their prices up though....I got a one way to bc from toronto and it was over 5 bills...fucking mad expensive...last time I flew west jet to BC it was $179 + tax

but yeah if you have money to spare, under pressure is fucking ill...so many sick writers...very inspiring.

working on the arts council, in charge of the media lab, doing stuff at the art gallery yada yada, my mom moved down here last year while i was in england so i came up for a visit but got offerd a job while i was down here haha...small potatos but what ever.

I went to this last year and it was a blast. Kool Herc spins some great old soul and funk....and he got into some new stuff too. The bboy battles were dope and the mural they redo every year was sick.

It's right out back of foufs....be sure to hit that place up a couple other nights before you leave. it kicks major ass.

heh I know where that mural is on this pics... Just 1 street over from ste catherine street close to the old "musique plus" location. Across where the fence is there is a large social housing complex (the projects lol) with multiple buildings. My grandma lives there and the majority of my childhood and early teens was spent in that location.
