Allen&Heath give Midi junkies the heads up, as they announce their latest controller.
The Xone:1D is the third product in their D range, and is a dedicated Midi controller connected and powered via USB, which can be used to control leading DJ software such as Ableton Live and Traktor 3.
Built along a similar design to its larger siblings, the four-channel mixer design is joined by an assortment of pots, buttons and encoders all of which spit out Midi data via the USB port or the old school 5-pin Din Midi socket.
Similarly to the 2D, the Midi controls have been given more space for fat fingers than is available on the bid daddy Xone:3D mixer. The mixer can be placed alongside any standard DJ mixer to give it the near-equivalent feature set.
