check to make sure your preferences are set correctly, to Vinyl and that the nobs are both set to USB

i got it working, now the problem is. even though set to external mode. The internal eq are still working. I have to set the internal way down, to get a decent level of sound.

^ honestly that was the reason i got rid of torq.

The disparity in volume between the mp3 sound and vinyl was too great.

Torq actually drastically lowers your vinyl volume and the mp3 volume is almost too high i think.

Allegedly they are working on a fix for this but I got too impatient.

If you're not using the internal fx and are using the knobs to switch between vinyl and mp3, the easiest way to even out the volume is to bring down the internal volume faders to about 20% and save that as a snapshot.

If you want to use the internal line-switchers to use the effects, you're SOL and need to just crank the gains on your vinyl when you play it.
