Here's the dilly yo. For those interested I'll teach you how to play a drum set and/or a hand drum (any type/style you want ie: African, Latin, Middle Eastern, East Indian, Swing, Jazz, Rock, Hip Hop, etc.) Even if you just want to be able to rock it on a bucket with some drum sticks ;)

All for the cheap cheap price of $10 bucks an hour :)

I'll teach drum set on my Pearl 5 Piece Master Series drum kit, and for hand drumming i suggest you have/own the type of drum you want to learn (bongos, timbales, hippy drums, etc.) But I also have a few things here you could use too. I can teach you how to read music, fill structure, beat structure, rudiments, all the technical stuff if anyone wants to learn that as well. The technical and theory knowledge would help dj's too, with things like phrasing, doing cuts, rhythm based EQ tricks, etc.

Guaranteed that with my program you'll be able to school any panhandler on Granville, and make more money on the same corner.

And for those that wanna know, here's a short list of my education and such.

Playing for a total of 11 years.
Royal Conservatory of Music Level 5 Percussionist
Certified Instructor for Canadian Military snare drumming and created one of the currently used showmanship styles (juggling/throwing sticks while playing)
Learned traditional african drumming from Ugandan teachers
Learned advanced tabla technique (using your fingers) while in Pakistan
Played drums with vancouver local indie band "Weed" for 3 years.
a bunch of awards from various competitions.

C'mon you guys...$10 an hour to get lessons from someone who really has true talent! I really suggest you give it a shot if you're even interested in doing this as a recreational thing. It's nice to try out new things and to expand your horizons!

I saw you jamming at the drink last wednesday, you fuckin' rip man!!!!!
That was a really dope night for music, fresh gordon was super tight, kytami was ill as always, kev was absolutely killin' it, and damn justine can sing! There needs to be more nights like that!!!
