Ebbomega: True... but if you know what your doing, you can use the EQ pots as a filter. It dosen't have as much range, but it still does the trick. And I'm not even gonan touch the beat count thing cause I know your not serious :P

Raver OG: Actualy it's more of a purple. I own that exact petal... I didn't pay $60 for it though lol

What would you recommend for a 4 channel mixer then? I don't want it for it's effects. Sound quality, durability, useability and layout are what I want it for. I own a flanger pedal, used solely for my guitar. Any recommendations????

pioneer sound quality is severly lacking.

peppertree - to duplicate the filter sound on the pioneer fx unit is impossible its a high to low pass filter.

u could try...but with those dinky little parametric knobs and a high to low pass set on 1/1 it would be extremely difficult to move you're hands that fast if not impossible

then why do you have a flanger pedal? or maybe you just hate filter...either way i disagree. take a look at a dj like james zabiela, using fx u can take tracks so much further and really do something innovative in a dj set, if done tastefully...i hate those idiots that crank the flanger...i simply abhor them.
