Although I have little respect for CDJ's ... the only one you should consider investing in is the Pioneer CDJ-1000.

In my experience of playing with different models, it's the only one that can scratch without sounding like feces.

alot of higher up dj's use CDJ's ... although u should support ur fav producers by buying vinyl, alota DNB dj's use cdj's to play dubs because its way cheaper then getting a dubplate pressed...

I'm aware a lot of big names are switching to CD's. John'00'Fleming for example, is now using almost strictly CD's. When Ferry Corsten, one of my favorite big names, performed in VanCity, he mixed almost exclusively with CD's.

But call me romantic ... there's just something nostalgic about turntables and vinyl. Plus it sounds better, and even the perfection of the CDJ-1000 can match the scratch sounds of vinyl.

well of course vinyl is first choice, but cdjs definatly have their perks i guess it depends on what you do, think about being able to finish makin a track and being able to play it out that night, not to mention all the unreleased dub goodness.

fuck, i just want to play songs in my house on loud speakers. i don't want the features of the 1000, the 100 would be fine, anything that has pitch control heh.
