From what i've heard there is a CDJ1000 mk2 and a CDJ1000 ( i guess that one would be mk1 )

Platter is stronger.
Some small memory issues were cleared up.

Look on google for complete upgrades... The Platter being the major difference, its more solid and has a better feel.
