I really want to go to Freeze and to do, so I need to sell these speakers. The rave is more important to me, then having good speakers, I'll re-buy them on the 15th when I get paid. They are sweet speakers I just didn't budget my finances very well again (like always, I suck at budgeting).

I'll even go lower then $500, If some one gives me a reasonable offer. I can lose some money on the speakers, but selling them at $500 I'm already losing money, but its all good, I don't care :P I do care about the rave.

So yeah, $500 or best offer.

Scares me that you say they're brand new @ less than $500, in 2 different finishes, sold for a rave....



Much to my surprise this turns out to be a scam of international proportions (***Canada***, U.S., Australia, U.K., Netherlands, Germany, Japan, Switzerland ). There are even web sites specifically devoted to exposing it.

Essentially it involves selling cheaply made, but impressive looking, home stereo speakers under the names:

Good night out in Surrey no, lol, funny. The speakers are not a scam, neither are they worth $50, wtf? Go do some correct research and I promise you that you won't find them for less than $500. I baught them at Costco.

If I don't sell them before the rave, then I'll just keep them, anyways I was thinking of selling them only because I'm short some money for my rave ticket, but if do sell them then I will re-purchase them when I get paid.

hey, I wouldn't buy them. I mearly pointed out the fact they were REAL speakers, good or bad. they DID have a manufactures website.

I pitty the fool who would buy them, parking lot speakers are the oldest scam in the books. lol

when buying speakers, make sure they're not from surrey.

They weren't stolen I think :P and since I figured out a way (credit to both Alex's) to go to the rave, I don't need to sell the speakers.

You can come see them if I chose to keep them , but I most likely will give them back to the guy that wanted me to sell them for him :P But ya they weren't worth $500 and weren't from Costco, nicely done investigation :) SKILL!

THE TRUTH:

I actually know somebody that baught them and they wanted to sell them for $350 cause they didn't have the propper hook up to install them. So, I agreed to sell them for them (make a extra $150 and buy my Freeze ticket). I dunno where buddy got them, he doesn't have a receipt, so actually they might be stolen, but I didn't steal them, I wouldn't waste my time jacking speakers and re-selling them. BTW I don't steal, I got high morals.

The mission was for me to go to Freeze and now I'm going :)
