FS: Roland DJ-1000 - 2 channel mixer

This thing has been discontinued a while ago and i can't find anything on it on the net right now... It's a decent mixer - 2 channels - a little beat up, but it still functions fine. 3 years old, all the faders are missing the knobs, but if you're going to be mixing only it shouldn't be a problem. I paid $700 for it new 3 years ago.

Basically it comes with an effects processor (sort of a filter thingy with adjustable LFOs and waves), beat counter, and it allow for MIDI syncing.

Great mixer for a starting/beginner DJ that wants a little more than just a basic mixing unit.

played at a few parties out in saskatoon like a couple years ago, and one of the venues had the "step up" from this roland mixer... and honestly, it's not too shabby.. the thing was solid, and the FX are fairly decent.. i thought the place was on crack for having it there, but once I started using it, fair enough... tight!

yea, it's a decent enough mixer. The FX are interesting although i never ended up using them too much. Much more customizable than most FX processors but requires a bit more of a learning curve.

one of the first mixers I ever learned on was a roland dj-2000, thing is like a tank!

kyle i think i've played in that same venue...Gabbo's or something like that? not a bad place
