--FNK.ca celebrates it's 3rd annual stage!

It’s hard to believe it’s almost here already! With over 15 production companies and countless dj’s this will definitely be the premier party of the summer! Mark your calendars for July 31st.

Apex has been around for over 5 years and continues to bring out people from all over BC and from the U S of A. With over 15 stages it's easy to find a stage that fits your liking. This year Apex promises to out do the last so if you've never been to an Apex this is your chance!

Apex happens to be the night of my roomates B-day, so quite a number of us are going to be making the trip over for it...

I have always loved attending Apex parties, so we're bringing some noobs to this one.

ATTENTION ALL ASPIRING DJS!!!

If you don't know... pay attention. For the last two years, FNK/SwingKids take the initiative to announce upcoming and inspiring DJs at our stage at Apex.

In following with tradition, we would like to give all you DJs the opportunity to compete for a slot on both stages at Apex 2004. We will be collaborating two stages again this year - Breaks/House vs Trance.

FNK site members will be the judges.

We will first be taking nominations until June 8, 2004 11:59pm PT.

If you are chosen as a nominee, please submit your demo by June 10, 2004.

Voting on these nominees will run through a poll format until June 18, 2004 - 11:59pm PT. The poll will consist of the top 5 DJs nominated for either side. All we ask, is that when you nominate a DJ, please remember to specify their genre of music.

Contest Rules:

1) You must not be slotted for another stage.
2) All previous winners of this contest are not eligible.
3) All DJs must have approx. 6 months "basement" experience.
4) All DJs are required to submit a demo (via MC Hammered's FTP).

RYDICULOUS ... APEX 2004 is most definitly gonna be a sick party! it will finally give us all a change from the inside sweaty party environment. hahaA. should be a better party tne last year possibly!?! :D

Does'nt say on there you can purchase tickets in Nanaimo? Usually Lucid Records gets tickets for all the rave events. But does not list there that you can buy them there. Guess we'll (Blankshots) have to make a drive to Victoria to get them. :200:

This is THE party to be at...I've been waiting for this party for a long time..and its always worth the wait!! I've been to the last two and I wasn't let down. This is the only outdoor party of the year I seriously recommend EVERYONE to attend. I'm probably going to be spending much of my time at the Evolve & Silverwaters stages...

I am going to be putting the tickets in Lucid as well, they should be in the stores there by Wednesday, like I said, I will keep everyone posted.

THIS YEAR WILL BE NOTHING SHORT OF INCREDIBLE!!!!

This is definately not something to miss. Call in sick, fake the plague, skip the boob job, and forget about spending some time with the folks. You can not miss this!!!
