Current Drug Trends VS Local/World Underground Scene

I'm not sure if this is all in my head but give it a read, share some thoughts.

We all know the scene was booming 3 years ago, and it wil come back soon.. yada yada yada..

Lets compare those days, with today.

Everyone or the vast majority (of the rave population) were excited for the upcoming party and would attend with a "go hard or go home" attitude. It was great...
There were some wicked wicked dancers!!

Does anyone remember how important it was that you could dance, create your own moves, and bust the moves u had been practicing all week.

Nowadays people don't dance, they don't get excited, they go for lack of things to do.
blah blah..

Do drugs have a factor in these changes?

Drugs ciruclulated three years ago seemed happier and energzing then todays drugs.
I'm not an avid drug user, so i can't speak for the current.

I see more people tripping/sketch'n out at parties then i see dancing. Is this theory possible on a global scale? The world wide scene is struggling dearly, is it all b/c of shitty drugs?

just a thought

actually
drugs are getting stronger in my opinion
but yeah they are...different...

maybe its just your attitude that has changed
back when i had first started going to raves, i totally had that go hard or go home attitude like u said, but that was just cuz it was new to me.

If you talked to soem newbies or something, im sure they'd tell u they love raving and plur and that they swear they are so high they can FEEL the trance music

if u talked to anyone thats been partying for two years, they've outgrown glowsticks, have shifted over to smaller more intimate parties, and if they still do drugs its not at every party, and its not nessesarilly ecstasy anymore

maybe its because of too many drugs that the world scene is dying...or maybe because raving was a fad associated with some drugs, and the popularity of these drugs are fading.

maybe because people are woried about how they dance or look, so thet don't do it as much,,, and cause if they don't the people around them don't want to feel different so they also stop.

And/or maybe you kids are going to lame parties? Cause island kids sure dance, and so do all most of the older people in their sub-scenes.
