Alcohol and memory loss
I think Im starrting to have serious problems with alcohol and memory loss... It's fucking really wierd, when I was a kid(like 14-17; Im only 19 now which I guess is pretty young), I could remember EVERYTHING that happend during a night of good drinking no matter how sloppy I was... Now if I get wasted (which I dont really do THAT much anymore, I mean I usually get drunk on weekends but I try to control myself alot more than I used to and so I am generally not wasted) I barely remember anything from the night before; people keep telling me about the stupid shit that I'd said/done (often with hilarious consequences, hehe) and I'm always like "WTF that didn't happen!"
Also when I'm under the influence I have a lot of trouble remembering things as well, ie my phone number, the name of the person I'm talking to, what I did fiveminutes ago(ie one time I ordered pizza from three different places since I didn't remember ordering pizza in the first place- I was really hammered tho, dealing with the pizzamen was a pain in the ass...). Wells it's not like Im a total alcoholic either, sure I drank every day for a while last year, but this year I've kept it pretty low key (howver when I drink I drink fairly hard) but it's now that I've begun to notice these memory problems... On the other hand my memory is pretty damn crisp when I'm sober(ie I can remember shit really well when Im studying) so I know drugs/alcohol aren't really effecting my overall memory, but still I find the sensation of not remembering something I've done to be very wierd... I never had that problem much before but a few weeks back I was super hammed and this chick asked me how old I was.... i fucking pretty much forgot
I turned to a girlfriend of mine and was all like am i 25 or 26?? She just laughed at me and said "I dunno Shawn... how old are you?" I felt like such a fucking tool...... hehehe

I think it depends on how much you drink.. like if you get just sloshed and drink all night chances are when you wake up you are gonna come accross blank spots when trying to remember the previous nights activities (this happens to me on a regular basis)
the worst for me is when I cant remember parts of my night when I get up in the morning... but as the day goes by I start remembering all the dumbass shit i did/said ... and Im all like.. 'Oh shit I cant believe it did that' another thing I've noticed is that I get way more hungover now than I used to when i was a young buck (I consider 21 over the hill) but whatever... nothing like a beer for breakfast to cure a hangover!!!
