I've read differently. I've heard it's symmetrical women in general (symmetrial facial characteristics and body) that are more fertile. also, those with a 7:1 hip/waist ratio are apparently more fertile, having nothing to do with breast size.


in response to the right handers with slightly larger breasts on the right side comment, if that *were* true, it might have something to do with increased muscle activity in the right pectoral muscle. who knows....

Well of course, symmetrical HUMANS in general are usually more fertile and healthier overall. Which is one of the reasons hummans have the tendency to find symmetry more attractive. But while researching for an argumentitive essay on the negative effect of media on body image, I found in a couple places that not only symmetrical breasts, but larger ones were usually mean the woman was more fertile. However, there are -always- exceptions of course; it certainly does not all women with small breasts are any less healthy or fecundant than a woman with larger ones. I also don't know too much in detail about the human body but it may have something to do with the ability to breast feed? I really don't know the reason behind that fact but I've found it in a few places and it seems to logically explain part of the reason behind why our society seems to generally prefer large breasts (at least for aesthetic reasons).

breast size has no impact on a women's ability to breast feed. I also think that society preferring large breasts is more of a sociological aspect than a evolutionary aspect. you will find there are other parts of the world where small breasts are actually preferred over large breasts.
