Perhaps because it's actually kind of offensive to gay people. Remember, gay people like to be taken seriously, too! Yes, drugs can make you more open sexually, but it doesn't actually 'make you gay'.

I'll try to ask my black friends next time I hang around them if listening to hip hop music makes me black because it makes me dance just like they do in the video and even adapt clothing styles and use some of the slang! Let's see if that doesn't get my ass kicked!

Ok I don't mind all the kidding but I hope that none of you actually think that I am ignorant enough to actualy believe that a drug can chose your sexual preference. That is why I stated my oppinion after the topic. The only reason I chose the topic name was because it was in context to a conversation I was having with a friend last night. He was claiming that he had found that he prefured men over women after he started partying and doing drugs. He said E turned me gay.
It's not like I just said wow really thats crazy I hope my bf doesnt do e and run off with some guy after a party.
It was not ment to offend anyone and Im sure most people are already quite awair of that. And people can joke if they please.
But I'm open for a discussion baised on my oppinions on the statement in my first post as well.

I never thought you were being ignorant or that you believed it.

And I see where your friend is coming from. As long as he knows that it was not the drug it's self that turned him gay.

I don't think any of you think that I have that kind of lack of mental capacity. But I'm sure there will be a few that may stumble across this post that may be a bit confused. The title I'm sure is capable of pulling in a few flames.

It is true though. I do like to say things that can make people laugh,cringe or just shock them. But over all I don't like people to get the wrong impression of me. I still want to be able to shake a persons hand when I meet them at a party.

no it doesn't, but it does make you more open to the possibilities.... youre so high you let loose sometimes, that is if you have it in you already, but no, it can't MAKE you gay.

It was half and half actually. The comment "e makes you gay" of course is not serious in any way.

But my opinion stated afterwards as to who finds that they found there sexual preference through partying and doing drugs was totaly up for discussion.

I was replying to the actual post, when the rest of you were replying to the topic it seems. Which, if she had seriously been asking that in her post, would have deffinately called for some sarcasm.
