Ah, summer seems to be here a bit early.

Shorts weather means going outside, and what a better way to spend a few hours smoking a couple of joints and playing some chess in the park. such a good time.

I think I might try to entrap some of my friends into doing this, maybe this weekend.

Chess is one of the few games in the world that really makes you think ahead. Plan and execute. Much like life! The moves you make in the begining can dictate how easy or hard of a game you will have. Oh how so challenging. Many a day has been spent loaded playing chess.

i met that motherfucker on my trip down there what a huslter.I backed down though i figured any bum charging cash to play must be the man.he wasnt at a park though he was by some stairs downtown somewhere :)

does he set up shop sometimes at vancouver art gallery? because there's a bum who charges 5$ a game there and if you beat him you get the money back. But he's by far the best player I've ever seen in person, it's uncanny.

the russian guy? he is not that good. I play there alot, and the only good player I know is Stan. He is mentally defected, but is a very solid, and agressive playa. You can play your Queen's Gambit and not only will he decline it - he will play the weirdest moves.
like you go d4, he goes A1.
his cfc rating is about 2010. which is pretty impressive.
