Red or White wine?

with a meal, then it's all dependant on what you're actually eating.

Red for sure. Unless its a really really dry white, I find that they tast far too sweet. Plus the 'red wine drunk' is one of the finer things in life.

but yes - ff, really really dry white's are good - like botari, or while eating greek/breads
red's are good for pasta's, meats, etc.

I definitaly prefer white wine...my mom used to give me red wine (when I was like 13-14) , and I had to choke it down. Way to bitter for my taste.

Also Red is a good Anti-oxidant... a glass a day goes good for your health. That and in case of exposure to Radiation, Red Wine increases the Strontium content in your blood that helps your resistance to alpha and beta radiation. :) (More useless info courtesy of mapleleaf4ever)

I like red more, especially cabernet sauvignon and merlot. Red is also healthier.

I like chile merlot, a good Bin (555/444) - any Charaz is good if it comes from Australia, and it has to be nice and aged, cabernet sauvignon, or chianti - I could use some of that right now. :\

Cabernet Franc, Benito Ferrara - ugh.

Ooh... if you like a nice red... try Cassiellero(sp?) de Diablo, it's quite nice. Long legs, nice powerful taste. Quite lovely, kinda expensive, but good. My friend and I have it on occasion. I can't remember what kind of red it is as I'm more of a Hard Alcohol person myself.

I never really drink the stuff, but my Mom absolutly loves white wine. Like most everyone else who prefers white over red, she says red gives her headaches.

I say, drink enough of either and you're going to have a headache either way.
