i make an effort not to smoke around them
but i like to smoke when i drink, i always have and likely always will
i don't smoke during the day or in most situations...so it's not usually an issue for me
maybe after a year or two together i would consider it...but smoking and drinking are how i choose to unwind and all my partners to date have respected that

i dont smoke enough to make my gf concerned. i dont think she minds when i do. i mean i smoke weed and cigars and she dont mind.

i would do it for her down the road... for health reasons.

if i smoked, i would atleast try to quit...if i couldnt quit..then cut down...i tend to only smoke when i was really drunk/messed up....but now it'll only be drunk(no more drugs for this guy)

i quit smoking for a boyfriend i had in grade 11. it's a dirty, nasty habit anyway. completely pointless and a waste of money.

I had that problem before..I sort of think that if they know you are doing it before they start dating you, and they accepted it then, then they dont really have a right to tell you to stop. Helping or encouraging sure..fine. But if they really have such a big problem with you smoking they shouldnt have agreed to date you in the first place.

a lot of my ex-girlfriends havent blazed, only a few have...and thats fine, if u dont want to blaze, then its all good, its not everyones thing... BUT When they all first met me, they knew I blazed, and that i enjoy it. I dont mind at all when they suggest I slow down a little, cuz I do blaze quite heartily...BUT when they start bitchin about "everytime ur friends come over, u guys just blaze here! damn potheads!" THEN its time for ass to meet door... Broke up with my last girlfriend over the very same matter. And its not like i blazed around the ones that didnt like it, I would either go for a walk n blaze, or whatever, but i wouldnt expose them to it if they didnt already blaze, so I dont think i was outta order
