Scene= Good, Bad, or Ugly?
so my first attempt at this kinda blew the big one so lets give it another shot.
whats the scene like these days and would someone wanna actually get back into it? I haven't partied in like 2 years except for shambhala and the only way i seem to be able to enjoy some good DnB is like lotus or someother DnB bar night. Maybe i am wrong? maybe i should just stick to my diskman for beats? whats your opinion on the scene today?

Oh yea,,, also i matters what part of it you are in...
Kiddy side of the scene, is hurting 1/2 the time. Hippies are ok, just watch out. Burners are funny. Older techno head are hard to start up with but once you get to know people they tend to be the most up front and friendly. Older DnB crew, MUCH nicer then the jungle-crack scene, mind you they are all fucking drunks. (go out to the rum&ass parties you will see) House/geeks are funny also too much drinking but funn. Old School house people,,, god dam fucking up tight snobs. (coke much?) Goa hippes have the best parties, but why the fuck do they have to play goa all night!!!!

lol i guess so i didn't really think of it that way lol and i never did jib until i hit riverside. i was 13 when i went to station street i think maybe the most i ever did the was a half cap of e

i concur =) so many people complain about what the rave scene has turned into...but really, if your objective is to have a good time with your friends, dance and listen to some good music, then the scene will be great
In my personal opion thats a negatory, it doesn't matter what your objective is when you go to these parties especially if you plan on doing it sober i can't count how many times i have tried that and ended up disgusted by all the ugly druggies.

he was like wanna try this and i was a loner so i thought it was the cool thing to do... and no it wasn't a one time thing cause i was getting my homework done and my room was clean and i still had time to make some arts and crafts lol so it turned into a 4 year thing that stopped 3 years ago. thats why i stopped partying. and now that i have no desire what so ever to do it i wanna get back to the music i love.

I'm not too up on the scene on that side of the US but over here it feels like it has gone to shit. The only decent things to go to are house parties thrown by old skoolers because you know your not going to have to watch some e'd out kids that could care less about the music rolling round the club looking like retards. It's a shame really, every time I go out it just reminds me of how old I'm getting. I feel like I'm chasing memories.
