Shrooms!

Hey,
I was thinking this year i'd finally get off my ass and go out somewhere to try to pick shrooms... instead of being totally lazy and spending money on them. Anybody got any favorite picking grounds that you wouldn't be to shy about giving me directions to? Apparantly BC is laden with great sources.

Not sure exactly when they're "in season"... but i'm sure my old freind "the internet" can help me with that.

there in season from late september to late october, they should be fairly easy to find in forested areas with lots of bark and mulch,they also grow in grassy field's in animal dung, but make sure you have someone with you who can identify mushroom's properly, there are a lot of "deadly look alike's" that a novice picker could misidentify and pick and eat, the result's mean either liver transplant or blindness, permanent loss of hearing, and in about 35% of cases, death. so be safe when picking and bring someone who know's there shit.

bowmans is a good field... not many poisonis mush... that will kill you in 1 mush, as long as your not an idiot and pick the orange ones or the 1foot high mushrooms that havbe like 8 inch caps lol

Bowmans is good........the seasons is around september to october like has been said......and you can find out which ones are poisonous and which one aren't either on the net or in a book

good feild indeed...im not a fan of doing them myself, but i love picking. so yeah, if you get teh chance next fall u should deffinatly check out bowmans. its insane :)

very safe field as well, and i actually find i get a good visual high with it.. nothing like acid, but still good visuals, my best guess would be because there all mixed types of mush.. but yah, strongly suggest it, and if you really want a good high, cap them

^^ werd, but lots of people are there anyways, but seriously, you gotta watch out when your there, i know some people have been beaten the shit out of with bats for their mushrooms, so just watch it right, go with a group, this crackhead came up to me one time and told me his name was fin, and he had like a pound on him, he was like oh, let me see the bag, so i sorta held it up and was like see, and then he pulled this bag of chronic out, it was black powder, and hes like wanna smoke a joint? i sorta said uhhhhhhh no i have to go, like black powder, wtf:P then hes like you dont really have much mush, why you leaving? i had like 3 oz of hydros at home so i told him i was going to eat those, then he told me im eating like a king, like lol, wierdo then he asked for my cell phone, so i told him i didnt have one, he also told me he hitch hiked there, the most sketchiest fucker i have ever seen. this one time i went and picked in the morning, and a speed dealer came up to me and asked me to pick for speed or valium haha, being an idiot i said know, damnit i coulda sold that shit! he was really really sketchy too so thats why i was like uhhhhhh no
