The Amsterdam Cafe

Went to it on saturday at around 4-5, wow that is one of the most awesome places i have ever seen, i smoked like 4 joints with these people, and then i decided to go to the car, and smoke this huge joint that i call "the splitter" haha, but yah it was 1 big joint, like.. 2 grams in it, with 2 small joints coming out of it, between like 6 people, it was insane haha, i should have taken pictures but i took all my pictures at godspeed, awesome though haha, no one there said they seen anything like or tasted :) BT you missed out! next time im out ill roll one, there fucking awesome

i dunno, but the place rocks, i had an awesome time, everyones really friendly too, its just like sit down, and blaze and meet people, i cant wait to get out of chilliwack and move to vancouver, the wack is so fuckin bunk

It's pretty much a matter of acceptance by the cops. They have much better things to do with their time. The folks at the Amsterdam are adamant about no dealing in or around their cafe and the cops appreciate that as well. Cleans up the block in a way.

It's nice that the po-po haven't bothered attacking this place like they did with Hemp BC, hopefully it'll stay that way.

Hemp BC was pretty dope (mind the pun) too, used to be where blunt bros. was (burned down didnt' it?). They used to sell mushy kits and tons of other cool stuff... alas, stupid Phillip Owen....

as long as there not dealing, the cops are fine with it of what im aware of, its when they sell drugs that the cops get pissed off, either or, great place to go down to have a coffee and blaze a joint

the cops allow the cafe to operate and keep a close eye on things to make sure that the owners enforce the age rules and no selling rules.
as long as the people there don't cause problems the cops leave them alone.
i thought everyone knew about those places.
blunt brothers was by far the superior place to go, it's a shame that it burned down.
it's even more of a shame cabbages and kinx burned down though.

if they keep letting kiddies in then the cops'll shut'em down, the cops come in there and ID people and if any kids are found the owners get shit for it, and run the risk of getting shut down.
i'm not sure but i think you're right that the age is 19.

its allowed to be smoked here legally because the land is actually owned by the marijuana party of BC. Since its an actual political party, they go by their own rules. lol cops would never accept a place like this, they just have to.

haha thats awesome, great idea, and shaun! you told me salvia was expensive at spirits within and pointless:P i paid... 20$ for 2 grams of 10x, and it actually hit me, its a different type of high, i think people going into it expect something that its not, and thats why they think they dont get high, but you really gotta hold it, i was holding it until there was no smoke coming out of my mouth

for your most intense lady salvia trip, you got to try 15x extract, smoke it in a bong with torch lighter, hold the smoke for 30+ seconds

i want to try it but most cafe sell 15x when it's really only 10x...

btw it's legal to grow/carry it, for now anyway, don't smoke the leaves, the extract is the way to go, prepare to experience the most intense trip of 10~20 minutes of your life, it can turn into a horrorifying trip too so be careful, make sure there is a sober

It's the same reason people aren't constantly getting busted for blazing on the street here. Cops realize that weed is not the devil, and if by allowing this to go on they can also ensure cooperation of the owners on the part of turning in dealers and generally keeping that block safe then it's a win win.
