Vancouver Marijuana March

Just wondering...
Who's going to be attending the 2005 Marijuana March on May 7th (this saturday)
It takes place at the Vancouver Art Gallery at 2 PM.
It's basicly 420 walking down Robson, then Denman, all the way down to English Bay..
There's been music and free weed at the Marijuana March since 1999 to 2004, so I'm guessing it'll be there this year too

That day is for losers. I'd rather go to work instead of celebrating the "cannabis" culture. And wtf is cannabis culture? Sounds like some fucking cult that makes lots of money from losers that buy their weed.

your an idiot. did you not read the above posts, which stated they would be handing out FREE weed? cannabis culture is a subculture rooted in the 60's with the explosion of pot use in the music industry and all over north america. it isnt a specific group, or an affiliation, its something alot of people have in common, like rave culture, or skateboarding culture you fuckin twit.

im all for weed, but i have questions about this march. is it just going to be a whole bunch of people walking and smoking? or is this march supposed to protest the current laws on marijuana.. anyone have any details on this? im interested, but i want to know more about it before i decide to go. i wouldnt smoke weed (at the march)either way, but ill go if its to support the cause.

I like going to these things for the socializing and people watching, but I'm getting really tired of the rambling, ineffective speeches that are usually delivered.

They're symptomatic really, of the impotence of the marijuanna movement in general. THE LEADERS ARE TOO STONED TO GET THEIR SHIT TOGETHER.
