I have some questions about it.

has anyone ever tried it?

i've been hearing stories about trips and it sounds like something i'd wanna do before i do dmt.

if you have done DXM

how much have you done? how did you take it (coughsyrup, caps?)

whell i do have some information to share
personally i have never done the shit but i've been in a group of people who all decided to do it so i'll pass along what i know... vicks 44 was the way they did it... took about 1/2 to 3/4 of a bottle each... they described it as being very mellow... course you're going to have stomach problems unless you can get yourself to puke up most of it after you start tripping... from what i know it's very sedative and disorienting... your not going to get strong hillucinations off it but your going to feel dizzy... i dunno that's all i know about the shit... comedown is sleep and nausea... if it helps at all...
just curious as to why your wanting to try it? r u interested in over the counter stuff?

But my opinion, Dont TOUCH it, PURE dxm is pretty disgusting. Just because its in cough syrup doesnt mean its OK for you. Stay AWAY!

i think she was referring to the fact that there's dxm in thoes products.. it might as well be like drinking listerine for it's alcohol content..

dxm isnt good...i did it in these blue misthubishis....

Yeah, because I'm sure everyone that's had Out of Body Experiences on DXM were really just "dizzzy and tired" instead.

Definately not worth it.

Rather, all I have done is to point out flaws in your reasoning regarding why you believe DXM to be ghetto. So far the only justification that you have alluded to is that as DXM is a readily availiable and cheap ingredient in most over-the-counter cough syrups, that it deserves a moniker of being "ghetto".

Following this way of thinking, alcohol is ghetto too, as it can be bought cheaply and abused readily in most all poverty stricken areas. Is all alcohol ghetto too then? Obviously not, as you have alluded to a class system that exists with people who drink alcohol, by insinuating that I would drink substandard alcohol.
