Nope, there isn't. This is information he has willingly published online for all to see without restriction. What
j3rk has engaged in here - and big props for him on the gathering - is simple information harvesting. Listening to
Steven Rombom talk about this a while back, basically PIs love how much their job is made so much easier by outlets such as Facebook, MySpace etc. The information they can now gather in 30 minutes would take many days and lots of dough "back when".
Now, by posting the e-mail address without being subpoenaed for it,
j3rk has probably violated the ToS for FnK [something stating that your e-mail address won't be disclosed etc.] Using it to notify the RCMP [if that's indeed the case] falls in a gray area and because IANAL I can't talk much more about it.
Even if the RCMP isn't going to do anything about it, this guy just begs for someone to mess around with him. =)
EDIT: I'm sure his employer [do double-check it is BCHydro] would absolutely love to know the side-projects he's engaged in. Sure, he might not get fired - but isn't it lovely to feel that kind of pressure?
P.S. I could see this being used as a way to get back at someone, too, so there must be some caution in doing anything 'evil' to anyone. The Internet is non-anonymous but identity is just as hard to prove sometimes [which is why I'd think the RCMP wouldn't jump on this right away.]
