there are many degrees of hippie

some hippies are outstanding, gentle people, spiritually and culturally aware. Intellectually interesting and dynamic people to talk too who have progressive and interesting ideas on all things art,culture, music ect.

some hippies are rather downtrodden and sketchy, flakes who are just lazy.

some people are totall hippies inside but rejected it and become messed up ego maniac headcases who desperatly cling to the status quo for approval
