donating stuffed animals

where is the best place to donate stuffed animals to those in need.

I'd rather not give them to some place that will sell them.

i'll bet that inner city schools would be willing to accept them, try contacting the youth and family workers at:

tillicum annex
hastings elementary
macdonlad elementary
strathcona

(those are just a few in the city....)

downtown there is roberts and roberts annex

i've been trying to get rid of mine for quite some time, but the majority of places won't even accept them. it seems like such a waste :(

I have two weeks to donate.

places like childrens hospital will only accept new and packaged toys, nothing previously used. when i was looking to get rid of mine they were my first thought.
