Not sure where u live. Best bet for cheap furnishings is the back alley in 'low rent' residential neighborhoods. I live on the E. side. A lot of stuff has come(and gone) from the lane to my living room and back again. At the end of the month, lots of people who are moving leave stuff in the lane. If the weather is nice on the last days of the month, try crusing the lanes.

there's a great place in cloverdale that sells assloads of furniture, utensils, full kitchen sets etc...some sort of liquidation place.

can't remember the name, but it's in cloverdale...find a phonebook...and such and such...
