The Decks : Technics SL-1200LTD 20th Anniversary Turntables
Only 10,000 of these are in the world and these for sale are numbers 3781 & 3785. I bought them second hand from the original owner (Frankie Bones of Philly, PA) from eBay about 8 months ago. They are in good cosmetic condition and excellent technical condition. They are based on MK2's with the reset fader button seen on MK3's. I have the dust covers, rubber mats and 45 adaptors... also a 3rd party turntable gold cover accessory. The popup light on one of the turntables doesn't light up. And on the same turntable the tone arm rest was replaced.



The Cartridges : Ortofon Concorde Gold
One came with the setup. Another I had to buy my self. Both are using new stylus, the spare stylus from the original was kept for backup.



The Cases : Calzone Red Technics 1200 Cases
In perfect condition. ATA Travel Certified.



The Mixer : Technics SH-DJ1200 DMC World Championship Mixer
Includes a spare cross fader and channel fader. 2 channel (4 input + microphone) battle mixer w/ high & low eq's on each channel. I have purchased a compatible power cable. The mixer has been fully tested and works 100%.



I paid exactly 1,319.99 USD (at 1,794.38 CDN) for the transaction... plus another 100 CDN as it came across the boarder. Plus another 250 CDN (w/ shipping, handling & customs) for a replacement Ortofon Gold Concorde and Tone Arm Rest... so I ended up paying about 2100. Those are sweet, but replacement parts for them are going to be an arm and a leg. sweet looking setup though.

asides from all the gold plating - everything else is identical to the M3D so you wouldnt have any problems replacing internal parts...i dont think you can even order the gold plated parts direct from technics.

You would have to buy the stock parts then get them plated probably.

Thats exactly true. You would have to do just that. How do I know? Had to do it for a repair on a tonearm for one of these. It was funny. The plating dident match.

Are there ones with actual GOLD on them? not just plating, but actual precious metal solid components?

Those are pimpin. Add a couple of diamonds in there, and youre ready to tour with 50cent.

only replacement piece is a led light that goes in side the popup lite... the popup mechanisim still works, it's just the led is burnt out. And yeah it's real gold, gold plating that is. hehe and yeah, they're pimp... one of the reasons that lead me to buy them on impulse. hehe. you know you want it.

I have also noticed an unfortunate defect... one of the two ortofon gold cartridge (the one i orignaly got with my purcahse) the lifting arm was superglued on and rebroke on me... I have reattached it with high quality apoxy glue... so it works 100% fine, and there are no mechanical defects... but I am an honest seller and thought I'd let people know.
