Needed: New Golf clubs

I need new clubs cuz the lye on mine is all wrong.. anybody have a decent set they don't want anymore? I don't really like graphite, but will think about it if they are at the very least medium torsion.

I am aware of that, but you can only get it adjusted a couple of degrees or the club might break... it's just better to have it right in the first place and besides... i just want new clubs.

Right-handed like most... are they mizuno clubs as well? I'm only looking for the irons anyway as I have a good driver that I like. And by any chance can you check the torsion on the shafts? I can't use low-torsion graphite as my swing speed is way to high.

Also how much $$ are you lookin for?

yo, me and Filo are going golfin quite a bit this summer.. he seems to have gotten quite into it, so I'll give you a shout next time we head to the range and then maybe we'll even get you out to some pitch and putt? Only problem is you live in VanCity and probably don't have a car?

golf is a game, not a sport. And you probably do suck at it I'm guessing... you should get out to a nice course on a sunny day and actually give a try Bevan, you might actually like it.

ps. anytime you want to strap on a pair of skates, just let me and that other old man golfer Filo know and we'll be happy to show you how much we suck because we golf too.

Baa ha ha ha. To each their own I suppose.

Actually, I have a guy friend (who's really into golfing now) who's still got his old (used 1 year) golf clubs he bought from Nevada Bob's for about $700. Forget what kind.

I will direct him to this thread. He went and bought new $1500 Taylor Made's after he decided he liked golfing that much. He'll likely let his old set go for a really good deal since they've just been sitting in storage. Will advise.
