Been there/done that, it sucked majorly. Good money, but I wouldn't do it again, unless I got paid like at least $16/hr. anything less than that ain't worth it.

You have to be built/strong to do this job. I do granite installations and lift like 300lb. - 400lb. granite counter-tops everyday with my partner, it get's you crazy built and its so much fun. You also meet alot of interesting people, lots of hotties too. I don't get paid hourly, I just make $200/day the job can take 4 hours or 8 hours I still get my $200, its fucken awesome guaranteed $1,000 every week.

d-uh. there are benefits to having a hard job that dont show up on paper, you know.the way i see it, im getting paid to work out and tan.

i come home from work every day tired, but happy and fulfilled. manual labour/construction is some of the most satisfying work you can do. you actually get to create things and be a part of a team.

i know i could sit in front of a screen all day like a fucking zombie and crunch numbers for 8 hours, or sit on an assembly line and push a button every five minutes, or any other monotonous mundane bullshit job, but no thanks.

please take your negativity elsewhere, i dont give a rats ass how much "better" yours or anyone elses job is, thanks. im very happy with my work.

d-uh, thats what im doing. i started as a labourer, and after a year, they started training me to use a hawk and trowel, and in another year or so i could be up to 25.

but really, im just saving money right now to go to school, its not like i want to be a plasterer the rest of my life anyways. it just works really well for me right now
