hahah, nah. love it. thanks
it made me realize how much faster I can operate by not having to draw in notes.

I figured it would be nice to have a drum pad aswell

I almost bought a Trigger Finger from Long & McQuade, until I saw the Akai MPD16 beside it.
It's a solid performing unit and more than $50 cheaper than the Trigger Finger.
If you have an Oxy 8 (like I do) then the extra knobs/sliders on the Trigger Finger aren't really essential.
Consider the Akai MPD 16, and good luck.

ive read some sketchy things about both the trigger finger and the mpd16.

it'd be worth taking a look at the roland spd line of percussion pads
