To honestly GAIN any international recognition, you MUST produce. Which I clearly dont have time for. There is no hope being only a DJ.

I completely agree, the only reason im upgrading is that i feel that i have gone to the limits with my numark already. Which makes me feel like im finally ready for techs.

interesting thing to add, when chase&status came through town i was lucky enough to chill with the guy(colin i think???) at a little aftershow get together...

anyways we got to talkin indepth and i congratualted him on his success and how lucky he was that he is able to travel the world on drum and bass. he response was "yeah its all cool in your 20's but you cant retire on it....there is no fucking way."

anyway's he went on to tell me how all the oldscool guys back in england like grooverider have kids now and they all find it difficult financially.

it was a fascinating and very eye opneing conversation.

Last time I checked the going rate of Booking a DJ is at LEAST $100...
