the reason you can walk into many chinese places and talk them down to 50% is this. Sunglasses mark up are crazy high. For example I just bought myself a paif of d&g sunglasses retailed in store for $400+ and a pair of chanels for my gf retaile din stores for $400+ for $220 each. My buddy owns a glasses store and he ordered them and gave them to me for cost price. Like i said the mark up for sunglasses are crazy high and because if you walk into a chinese place and talk them down to 50% they will still be making money off of you. Chinese people do business differently from north americans for the most part. We are all about making the sale regardless if its making $5 or $500. Only in a chinese retail store can you walk in and talk down prices. If i walked into sunglass hut and said fuck that ill give you $200 for them theyd look at me like im nuts.
