..... uhhh right.... that would mean changes within the residential tenancy act would have to change and it would apply EVERYWHERE.... I don't see this happening...

Do some research. Why would the Residential tenancy act change. For sh*t I am not a lawyer, but if that happened; I'd rent office space and sleep when no-one was looking. (LIKEA Bypass)
