I'm doing it off and on, hoping that it will start to take to it, but it still swells a lot. That can't be good for my body. I'm thinking about just giving it up out of respect for my body's well-being.

Hmm. This is interesting, since I'm planning to split my own tongue as soon as possible. I've been dreaming about it for a year or so, and I'm starting to get a bit impatient.

I've heard stories about people trying to split their tongue by using fishing line, and often they just finish it off with a scalpel. So I was thinking I could use the fishing line in the very beginning in order to get nice tips, and after that cut it through with a scalpel.

Does it still keep swelling up at nights? And I agree with the others, new picture would be nice.

There's only a notch about a millimetre deep. If I were to put gauss in it to keep it separated whenever it swells, it would go fast but I don't know how straight the cut would be.
