I used to write alot of poetry and prose out of words and phrases I cut out of the newspaper. I still have most of 'em too.

aside from the fact that I grew sick of ransom-note poetry long ago (I always saw it as a cheap way to make yourself look more creative), it's aok.

^ When I first started doing that kinda poetry (I've long since stopped, I have serious writers block these days anyhow) I didn't know anybody else who did.. but that was a long time ago. lol

everyone in my highschool that thought they were the most avant garde poet they knew used that style. It's tacky.. cliche, and I could never help but wonder how many of them were just practicing for their shady futures.

Easier said than done. I start out writing something and it goes well until a few lines in and then I get stuck.

i started with ransome notes... but then moved to poems... i guess the neighbourhood children just didnt really care about their pets.
