Clever marketing idea. Just thought I'd share.

Interesting concept, makes sense to me. that $5 will most likely be used to buy their first drink anyways.

How many bars do this? You could go hopping from bar to bar and make a small fortune!

It is just like buying everyone that comes early a drink.

the bar must do this not a promoter.

I think it is kind of a dumb idea because you could get anyone walking in and just taking $5 and leaving.

It should be $5 bar money or something.

simple attention grabber.... probably gets lots of people going.... and they just get the money right back 90% of the time.... and i'm sure if 5 people go in there take the money and leave looking like asses, the bar wont miss $25
