For the one concert that you need to see before you die?

I missed pre-sales for Tragically Hip at the Commodore. A totally intimate show, general admission, fucking awesome.

Now I am on the hunt for tickets, and curious what people would deem excessive.

The most I ever paid for an event was $130 for a New Years party with Basement Jaxx and Roger Sanches based by the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I would of paid $150-$200 to do it all over again with a ton of back packers I hardly knew in Sydney.

Id say $100-$150 for a band you REALLY like. You said it would be intimate and although im not a huge fan of the Hip, I would still beleive that would be a great show worth every penny.

Keep in mind their getting old, see them before one of them goes away. I'm sure youll remember the show allot more then you remember spending over $100 for.

I would consider it for a longer period if they are over $200 each.

This limit is based an individual's hypothetical MUST SEE act.

$125 a piece. Tuesday nights show. Last show in Vancouver. Sound will be set perfectly, cause after 4 nights worth of shows, it should be perfect.
