WTF @ Ticket Prices

Ok, some of you guys may not know me. Some of you may know me. Anyways, I made a post for Doom's Day Tickets and i got some quick responses. Even though the event is still a week away. I was expecting tickets to be maybe at most $100. I get responses from several people asking for upwards of $160. Yes, I know i'm looking for a ticket last minute, but $160+ for tickets is just insanity.

At these prices, no way in hell am I gonna pay for this event. I know Solid Inc. does great events, but $150+ for an event is just crazy. GL to Solid Inc. and the crew and hope the event goes off. I know it will. ^.^b.

if you want to hit dooms *desperately* what you should do is this: go there, find a scalper who will sell you one for less money(or for whatever your max price is)...go with scalper to the door and ask the security guy to scan the ticket to make sure it is legit, if it is..make a deal with the scalper and party. That is what I did once...I fluked out..and this was for the last party at the Plaza of Nations too (where lots of people got screwed by fakes).

you'd almost have to figure that maybe hiking up the prices on the tickets is not such a bad idea afterall...it will allow candy-poppers to learn what budgetting is all about :) If you can't afford candy and an expensive ticket price...then you will have the burden of giving up on one of the 2 choices :) Either way, you are still paying the same price to party. :mexitoke:
