Okay, this one will be a good game...here are the preview highlights:

Nashville has been nearly unbeatable, recording points in seven straight games (6-0-1), a stretch that includes four consecutive road wins.

Vancouver (7-4-1) also enters this contest playing well, winning two straight and four of five.

left wing Taylor Pyatt has been a pleasant surprise with four goals in five games since moving to a line with the Sedins. Pyatt already has matched his goal total from 41 games with Buffalo last season.

Roberto Luongo has done more than stabilize that position in his first month with the team. Luongo, acquired in a five-player trade with Florida on June 24, has allowed two goals or fewer in eight of 11 games, posting a 2.06 goals-against average.

And with Nashville's 6-0-1 record..that "1" represents the game where canucks beat their ass in overtime Oct. 21 st hahahha.
Look for canucks taking these kittens to the laundry mat by washing them in a 4-1 soaking :)

i wish it would be that easy. nashville is a force, and mason is one of the greatest backup's in the league.

Nashville has some awsome speed up the middle.

Their defensemen are underrated. This will be no 4-1 walkthrough.

Depending on if their goalie has an off day i can see maybe a 3-1.

You never know though teams running on a high eventually all come down. Luongo is almost under 2 goals a game. When is the last time the canucks had a goalie under 2 ever in a season even early in the season

when was the last time we actually had a number one goalie??? don't forget, even hot netminders have their bad days...for example, Patrick Roy had a real bad game when he allowed 8 goals on him in a game, even though his mates in front of him had a good game, he was horrible. Even to this day Martin Brodeur is having issues against opposition with scoring talent. Face it, how often do teams face a team which has a CONSISTENT shooting on net in high 30's to early 40's? Canucks have that advantage...now if they could only finish with a goal on most of them,....

this might not be the season where it all comes together, but I think we finally have a goalie we can build a team around.. just need 1 or 2 more goal scorers and get rid of the fluff.

Technically a number 1 goalie is any starter who plays majority of the games of the season. An elite goalie is a top 5 goalie in the league.

That being said why i said i doubt it would be a 4-1 blowout is because its not about the goalie being hot or not. Its about the team itself being stingy and very well rounded. Don't forget Nashville was a 100+ point team last year as well.
