loool at the voting machines not working properly, why doesn't Canada have these problems?

I'm really not sure what the whole purpose in having midterm elections, maybe they should just re-elect everyone including the president. All this is going to do is throw a bunch of Democrats into congress and the senate and then have two more years of congress and the senate trashing the president and his policies while no major change happens and nothing gets passed.

Thanks god for the final day of all the Election crap! I'm sick of all the negative TV commercials, people handing out some kind of flyer everytime I get on any kinda public transit. Its a non stop bombardment for like the last two months it seems! All Politicians are stupid. Stop making laws against partying and raving you dumb politicians!

Apparently the company who makes a certain type of voting machine has programmed the machine to change votes as ballots are read. The company is owned by some republican dude. i dont know if this is true but im sure something like this can be done to fuck shit up.

in Canada we have paper votes, where it is clear who you voted for. The machine in the USA is screwy, I don't know the detail, but everyone has some kind of problem with it.

I like our system, and I vote!

Voting machines in 2004 were manufactured by Diebold, a company that strongly favours the Republican party.

And they operated in such a way that it was impossible for an independent third party to check that the machines had worked properly, that is to say, that the votes had gone to who the people had tried to vote for.

...... Still waiting for the public outcry from democracy loving American citizens on that one.

Seems like the Republicans are going to keep control of the Senate. Not exactly sure how badly they'd have to fuck up in order to lose it. They've certainly tried their damndest.
